Georges Khabbaz

Georges Khabbaz, born in 1976, is a Lebanese actor, playwright, director and theatre professor. He studied musical theatre at USEK and has worked on stage since 1994. On film he starred in Under the Bombs (2006), for which he won Best Actor at Rotterdam, and wrote and starred in Ghadi (2012). He holds several Murex d’Or awards and an honorary doctorate from USEK.

He wrote, directed and composed Khyel Sahra, the two-hander he performs with Adel Karam, staged at the Casino du Liban Theater in 2024, over the 2024 to 2025 festive season and again in the summer of 2026.
