Sayyed Darwish, the Egyptian composer who died in 1923, is the subject of this evening, not its performer. The Philokalia production brings his songs to the Casino du Liban Theater on Saturday 17 October, prepared and arranged by Charbel Rouhana, sung by the Ishtar ensemble with the orchestra, and conducted by Sister Marana Saad.
